This short document is intended to be distributed with the DECODE APP v2.0 and its attached documentation (see the repository and website). The app is distributed in both Google Play and Apple Store and is available for the general public in European countries.
Here we provide a brief overview of the tools and then demonstrate how Zenroom applies to specific pilot cases with an analysis of the privacy implications that references the GDPR and in particular findings of DECODE's deliverables (D1.6 and D1.8) and reference to the pilots.
This deliverable consists of the implementation of a distributed ledger technology (DLT) that integrates with DECODE technologies, more specifically with the Zencode smart-rules language and consequently with the Zenroom virtual machine (VM) that executes them.
This document sets out the work performed by Thingful to develop a user facing component that is the primary interface citizens taking part in the IoT pilot will interact with.
This document describes the activities carried out in the scope of task T6.4 “Open Standardization”.
The document accompanies the wireframes and prototype of the DECODE APP v2.0.
This report provides a review of the licensing options for data commons, even cases in which data commons include personal data
This report describes the work undertaken in the DECODE pilots in Amsterdam through January, 2019. The DECODE pilots are usable systems that promote the project’s core values.
This document is a project deliverable for DECODE. It aims at characterizing alternative production models based on two schools of thought: the logic of the knowledge commons, and platform cooperatives
This document is a project deliverable for DECODE. It aims to explain through the Smart Rules interface, the possibility to clearly perceive who is doing what with our data and take clear decisions when it matters, looking at privacy in context and the implementation of the DECODE platform through user testing.
This document is a project deliverable for DECODE. It aims at explaining decentralised identity mangement and access control.
This document is a project deliverable for DECODE. It aims at to cover the design of the components built by Thingful which are to be delivered to SmartCitizen to be operated within the IoT pilot.
This document is a project deliverable for DECODE. It provides information on different ways of implementation, implicit certificates, evaluation of the prototypes and integration of Zencode.
This document is a project deliverable for DECODE. It aims at offering a more comprehensive system overview, description of the distributed ledger and smart contract applications.
This document is a project deliverable for DECODE. It aims at providing a high level architecture description and privacy design strategies for the Barcelona pilots.
This document shows how DECODE pilots are a fundamental part of the project as they must serve to engage large number of citizens and local communities to demonstrate the use of the different privacy-enhancing, decentralized and rights-preserving digital tools DECODE is developing.
In the current document we present the advancements in the development of the BarcelonaNow dashboard, and the design and specification of the planned upgrades.
This document presents the theoretical background, general objectives, elements, and shape of the Digital Democracy and Data Commons pilot to be carried on in Barcelona
This document provides a review of the licensing options for digital data commons, including for the case that data commons include personal data.
This report is about why and how city governments are taking a more responsible approach to the use of citizens’ data.
This document is part of the work done by Arduino in collaboration with the other technical partners in the DECODE project in the search for an optimal hardware platform ready to perform well enough to run the software created by the other partners in the consortium.
To facilitate transparency, multiple implementations, wide adoption and standardisation, DECODE develops a smart rule language and execution engine. Here we present an initial set of data subject attributes and controller entitlements governing access to them common to all pilots.
This Deliverable is an intermediary outcome of T1.4 “Graphical interfaces design for DECODE OS and for smart contracts”.
Barcelona has issued a new Data Directive that mandates data sovereignty, privacy and security by design and data ethics, as a set of ethical standards for the digital transformation. In this Deliverable, we describe how this vision is realised within the DECODE project, by integrating DECODE with the core data architecture of the City of Barcelona.
This brief technical deliverable illustrates aspects related to the integration and deployment of the DECODE OS (D4.4) with the DECODE HUB hardware platform according to benchmarks (D4.5) and the indicated reference prototype (D4.8).
